We currently offer Diplomas' in Business, IT and Engineering from Monash College which allows students to proceed towards Monash University in Australia or Malaysia for the second year with a range of pathway majors.

Yes. We have a dedicated English Language department with experienced lecturers who will assist you in improving your language skills. UCL is the authorised British Council IELTS Registration Centre, where we provide IELTS support classes for both Academic & General tests.

UCL lecturers are either PhD or MSc/MBA qualified – and have either studied or taught at reputed US, UK or Australian Universities. Lecturers are hired after a rigorous interview process, and officially confirmed by Monash, Australia.

Our class-rooms are designed to accommodate small groups of not more than 25 – 30 in a class room to ensure individual attention is given to the students.

We house 02 IT Labs which consist of 40 PC's, a Physics Lab, a Chemistry & a Bio Lab to support student learning at UCL.

Fees are payable by trimester. UCL also assists students in obtaining Student Loan facilities with leading banks and will help facilitate students in accessing student loans.

During the final Monash University Foundation Year or Monash College Diploma Part 2 trimester, students will be asked to list up to five course preferences. Once results are received, students will receive a conditional offer for the first course on their preference ranking.

If a student is successful in meeting all the admission requirements of one of their course preferences, Monash University will email the student their offer letter. The student must then accept their offer and Monash will send them a Certificate of Enrolment (COE) that they will use to apply for their student visa.

Briefings are held each semester for students transitioning to Monash with information on courses, how to apply and the course entry requirements.

Depending on the age of the student, what campus they will be studying at and whether they wish to live on or off campus, we have a range of accommodation options to suit. Students under the age of 18 must have a legal guardian (either a parent or relative they are living with, or a Monash under 18 Guardian) and live in Monash College under 18 approved accommodation. Students completing the final trimester of the Monash University Foundation Year or Monash College Diploma Part 2 with Universal College Lanka (UCL) will receive a conditional offer for the first course on their preferences. Once you receive and accept your offer letter from Monash you will receive your Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) which you will need to complete your student visa application.

Many Monash courses actively involve industry partners in both the design and delivery of your education to enable you to be at the forefront of industry knowledge when you graduate. You will find a rich array of work-experience, internships and volunteer opportunities open to you, giving you the chance to put theory into practice.

Holders of a student visa in Australia are allowed to work up to 40 hours per fortnight, while university is in session, and there is no limit on the number of hours an international student can work during recognised school holidays. A briefing and information session will be held with students during the trimester to inform them of the course options available at Monash University, Malaysia. Students need to submit their application by the due date. Monash University, Malaysia admissions will issue Full or Conditional Offers to students, for students to accept their offer and apply for their visa. Once results are released, Monash University, Malaysia will issue students their Full Offer.
